Our full policy on illness is included in your Welcome Pack. In the event of your child being ill or having an accident at nursery, we will telephone parents or named contacts. We will take your child to casualty or call your GP if we are unable to contact you and feel this is necessary. Medication will only be given if prescribed and the child has already been taking the medicine for at least 48 hours before returning to nursery. This is administered under strict controls, and is kept safely away from children.
