The nursery has its own cook who develops a varied menu for its balance and nutritional value. A qualification in food handling and hygiene is required for this post and for those staff involved in the preparation of baby feeds. All formula milks, meals, snacks and drinks are included in the fees. We provide whichever milk your baby prefers, so that we can make up fresh feeds when your baby needs them. We have special weaning menus to help with the transition to the main nursery menu. Each day's menu is available and we keep a record of what your child eats at each meal. We are very diligent with regard to any special diets, allergies and cultural or religious requirements. Our menus are checked for additives and animal fats as appropriate, and emphasis is placed on freshly prepared meals and home baking. Teeth cleaning is encouraged after meals. Whilst mealtimes are primarily a social part of the day, we offer the opportunity for your child to develop their table manners and social skills.
